Reduction for 2 flutes (both double on piccolo), 1 oboe (doubles on English horn), 2 clarinets, 1 bassoon, 2 horns, 1 trumpet, 1 trombone, harp, timpani & percussion (combined part—1 or more players), and strings.

Includes the Guiraud recitatives (which of course can be cut if desired).

We also have available inserts for music from the original Opéra-Comique version which was later cut for the grand opera version, music usually not available in standard editions:

• Insert for No. 3 (Chorus of Street Boys), canon for strings under Moralès/Don José dialog (42 mm.).

• Extended orchestral introduction to No. 4 (Cigarette Girl Chorus) (34 mm.).
